WAB/FCC ALTERNATE INSPECTION PROGRAM

The Wyoming Association of Broadcasters, in cooperation with the Federal Communications Commission, is proud to introduce a service to the broadcasters of Wyoming unlike any that have ever been offered before. Here is how it works!

WAB has contracted with an independent inspector who will do a complete FCC inspection of your station. If no problems are found to exist, WAB will report compliance to the FCC and issue you a Certificate of Compliance.

If problems exist, the inspector will provide you with a confidential report outlining any problems ore FCC violations. You correct the problems identified within a specified length of time, submit to a re-inspection, or provide an alternate proof of compliance. Then, with a clean bill of health, WAB will notify the FCC of your compliance and provide you with a Certificate of Compliance.

The FCC then agrees NOT to perform a random inspection on your station for a period of THREE YEARS!

The WAB will be doing an inspection in the summer of 2001!
